The Blood Brothers rumor mill has been churning like crazy as of late but now there’s some definite sources on what exactly all of this side project nonsense is all about. Three One G Records announced recently that they will be releasing an EP by a thrash metal band called Head Wound City, a collaboration between members of Blood Brothers (Cody and Jordan), The Locust (Justin and Gabe) and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (Nick). While actual information is thin, blogger Adam Gnade has been talking up the EP as something to watch

It’s not not

On saturday Alex and I went to the Blue Shell to see It’s Not Not again (last time they played support for Miracle of 86). This time It’s Not Not played together with a local band called Dear Diary (a typical defiance emo band, not a highlight).

I don’t know what to say, just go and see It’s Not Not wherever you can. You can’t get more fun on a concert. They are totally crazy, hilarious Spaniards. I bought their new record, but I think the best thing is to see them on stage. Watch the videos!

By the way, tonight Weird War (ex The Make Up) is playing at Geb

The manual input sessions is a great audiovisual performance of Golan Levin and Zachary Lieberman.

Our concert is performed on a combination of custom interactive software, analog overhead projectors and digital computer video projectors.

Patrick Wolf

Yes, I was too lazy to write about that concert, but it was a nice one. I’ve never listened to Patrick’s new Album, so I was wondering if I like his new stuff or not. Besides Patrick is still very young (21) and sometimes I don’t like his attitude, but on stage he is very charming and not that diva Jan told me. His new album is on cologne’s tomlab. Have a look at their website, there is a lot of really good indie music.
I saw Patrick already on J
