22C3: Summary
December 31st, 2005 by teemowAgain just a short list of the lectures I attended.
#3 day:
- Private investigations in searching - Have a look at the creative search string optimizations to find everything for free. This guy was entertaining. But I definitly prefer to look for creative commons content.
- Open Source, EU funding and Agile Methods - Both talks from the PyPy Team were great and interesting. In summer I did my first project with python, test-driven and we also used a scrum based agile process.
- Learning JavaScript with the Google Maps API - mesch a little bit too slow in the beginning and missed to tell us enough interesting stuff. Javascript programming is of course still a nasty thing and examples without doctypes and with attributeless script tags are also not that nice. He didn’t even mention JSON.
- WarTracking - Sorry guys, but this talk was really boring.
Had a nice evening with Felix, Eric and Joachim in a tappas bar.
#4 day:
- Bluetooth Hacking - The State of The Art
- Blackberry: call to arms, some provided
- Security Nightmares 2006
- 22C3 Closing Event
I met Carmela and her boyfriend and in the evening Sandra, Walter, Makka, Alex, Fna, Eric and me drank some beer in Vereinsheim and White Trash. I didn’t see that much of berlin, but it was really nice here and full of snow, which is marvelous cause cologne never has any snow for more than one hour.
