As far as I can tell - the people who contacted me had IQ's way below room temperature - they really did find me thru the normal ICQ search. What prompted this temporary surge, I can not say. In Germany there were some commercials for ICQ on TV, but that would only explain things if I had been contacted by Germans. It remains a mystery :-( The wave of ICQ weirdness has stopped for me. As far as I can tell - the people who contacted me had IQ’s way below room temperature - they really did find me thru the normal ICQ search.
