Call-A-Bike
November 16th, 2005 by teemowIn some german cities you can easily rent a bike. Just register your bank account and mobile number, call the number on the bike and it gets unlocked. I’m a regular user of these bikes, it’s cheaper than a taxi and the bikes are standing everywhere in the city.
On Sunday I took such a bike and went to my plaze. When I tried to lock the bike again something went wrong and I had to talk to somebody to get things done. He started advising me that I drove out of the main area for that bikes. I wasn’t in the mood to get any advisory. I just wanted to get the bike locked, cause I was in a hurry. Now I checked their website and the main area here in cologne stops 500m away from my apartment. So they charge me 10
