Dartmail will be the new geek sport.

Just get yourself a plastic dart gun and shoot rfid chips at other people.

Like every year, Felix and Stefan are covering Tim O’Reillys ‘Emerging Technologies Conference’ in San Diego.
There will be a lot of famous geeks around. Some Speakers: Cory Doctorow, Jeffrey P. Bezos (amazon founder), Mike Shaver (mozilla.org founder). Be sure to read a lot of blogs this week, I guess there will be a lot of rumor.

CrunchBot

CrunchBot A gain a funny bot. Its used at the biscuit brand McVitie’s laboratory in Buckinghamshire to test the crumbliness of their cookies.

Liz Ashdown, brand manager at McVitie’s, said: “Eating lots of biscuits is obviously an enjoyable prospect for most people but we haven’t yet found a human who can test on this scale.”

Sugoy!

Finally after 7 months there will be a Sugoy! concert again. Since Guio left to Frankfurt last year, we had a lot of trouble in finding a new drummer. Lots of stupid rehearsals with no hope at all. But now we are back. Thanks to Nola, coming up with that nice drumming guy called Moritz. So if you are in Cologne next weekend, visit our concert in the Domforum for free:

Kacken verboten

Until Malo will come up with a new layout I’m using the standard wordpress kubrick layout. But I changed the head picture last week. It’s our rehearsal room toilet shot by Nola. Yesterday I took some more pictures of the toilet and of Lakis new speaker, which is from 1979. The sound is really nice, but the upper right speaker seems to be broken.
